Chai Tea Soap | Hand + Body Soap
Homemade Chai Tea Soap | Handmade Natural Soaps | Organic Soap | Tea Lover Gift
All-natural, cold-process soap made with organic oils. This Chai Tea Soap is scented with the essential oils of Cinnamon Bark, Orange, Clove, and Ginger pair with ground Cardamom Pods, Nutmeg, and Orange Peel throughout. Darjeeling Tea, Goats Milk, and honey round out this soap to truly embody a spiced chai tea. I used my own chai tea recipe (mix coming to my shop soon!) as inspiration for this soap formulation. I'm a big fan of really spiced chai teas, so this soap carries a strong scent!
Organic Olive Oil, Organic Sweet Almond Oil, and Organic Shea Butter make this soap conditioning for the skin, and Organic Coconut Oil and Organic Castor Oil add a nice cleansing lather. The powdered spices swirled throughout this soap add a subtle exfoliation. If you have sensitive skin though, the essential oils and spices used in this soap may cause irritation and/or drying.
Whereas I usually use soy milk when drinking my Chai Tea, I used goat's milk here for it's amazing richness. Additionally, goats are supposed to belong to Aphrodite, so I like incorporating goats milk into beauty products to invoke her for blessings of beauty.
I use as many organic ingredients as possible and grow many of my own herbs and flowers as additives to make all of my artisanal soaps and products with Mother Earth in mind. This soap is of course fantastic for the skin, but also natural, palm-free, and made with sustainable practices.

Hand Crocheted Soap Saver - these handmade crocheted 100% cotton soap savers are great for using as a scrubby washcloth with the soap inside, and you can hang them up to dry after use. Allowing your soap to dry completely between uses greatly improves the longevity of your soap.

**Note: I use Sodium Lactate in many of my soaps to harden the bar and extend the longevity. This is a natural ingredient derived from the natural fermentation of sugars found in corn and beets- sodium lactate is the sodium salt of lactic acid.
